Whilst most would appreciate that the medical profession has a very difficult job, it is perfectly legitimate to make a medical/clinical negligence claim where treatment has gone wrong through carelessness, neglect or incompetence.
Clinical negligence is a highly complex and specialised area of the law. It requires medical as well as legal knowledge and an empathy with the feelings and needs of people who have been harmed by negligent treatment.

- Legal Aid, now called Public Funding (available in some cases) – children are assessed on their own income (not their parents’ and therefore most children qualify for legal funding)
- Conditional Fee Agreement (no win no fee) – subject to initial assessment
- Legal Expenses Insurance - you may have legal expenses with your buildings and home contents insurance policy or other pre-existing insurance policies.
